The National Sports Council was established in the year 1988 and aims to manage and oversee various aspects of sports in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Specifically, the NSC functions to stimulate and facilitate the development of sports in SVG, to develop, maintain and manage sporting facilities and to administer the funds granted to sporting organizations.
